Goosebumps!

I just did a reading for a friend regarding someone's eyesight. It was a really amazing reading. I was aprehensive doing a reading regarding eyesight problems because I seriously doubted there was enough detail relating to eyes in any of my decks to give me enough information during a reading. I was soooo wrong! I used the Robin Wood Tarot, and all of the cards relating to the present (regarding a possible vision problem) showed people in the dark, blindfolded, or with their eyes closed. All of the cards regarding how to treat the situation and the future resolution had people with their eyes open - it was really wild! Plus, all the cards relating to the current problem had black/gray backgrounds, and the cards giving advice and the eventual outcome had sunny skies.

I love Tarot!

It was one of those readings that I just felt really "with it." As soon as I laid the cards out there was no struggling to find the meaning, it just popped out at me. Very cool.

Daily Drawing

Deck: Motherpeace
Spread: one-card draw for guidance in tomorrow

I drew the Major Arcana card, Judgement. According to the book that came with the Motherpeace deck, this card means a dawning of a new age, one of love leaving the ego behind. While I was shuffling, I dropped the Death card ("what you drop on the floor comes through the door") and that ties in nicely. Leaving an old cycle of my life and starting a new one. I interpret this card to mean that I will find the Easter celebrations I participate in tomorrow (okay, technically later today as its after midnight) to be very uplifting and will help me to feel as though Spring has really started. Judgement is one of those cards that I've always had trouble interpreting, it seems it can mean so many different things. I looked it up in the Motherpeace booklet because it was very different imagry than in the Universal Waite tarot... I like the interpretation given - I think it will be benefitial to me in readings I do from now on.

(Sorry for my LONG absence. Life has been busy! In the past 2 years I've given birth to two amazing children and my husband and I bought a house, so my energy has been focused elsewhere. But I'm ready to start working with Tarot again now.)
