Well, the reason that I've been too sick to do readings for the past several weeks is because... I'm pregnant!!! Yay! The morning sickness seems to be passing, though, so hopefully I'll be back into reading within the next week or two.
However, my most comfortable deck is not in use at the moment. I drew the 10 of Cups (a happy card showing a loving family) a few days before I found out I was pregnant and I've had it hanging in the canopy above my bed with the fertility voodoo doll we bought in New Orleans. I plan to leave it there until the baby is born. (The due date is June 5, by the way.) I'm now feeling drawn to use some of my other decks, though. Especially my fairy-tale centered deck...
On an interesting side-note, we called grandparents tonight to tell them and here's what Nana had to say, "Oh, well I knew that already. This week I dreamt of the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen, and I knew it meant that I'd be having another great-grandbaby soon. I didn't know who it would be, though!" Nana has 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren! She always knows these things ahead of time - its wild.
