I wrote a pretty last-mintue grant before leaving on Thanksgiving vacation in November to a local foundation to get a grant that the museum is DESPERATE to get (to fund a new exhibit). Every other request for this money has been declined so far, but the that last group called today to tell us they were funding it at the $10,000 level! Yay!!!! I rule!
