THE MAGICIAN - Card One of the Major Arcana. Shows a man (who looks like David, incidently) with a tool from each of the suits of the deck before him, a glowing infiniti symbol above his right hand, with a black and white candle for balance behind him, and everything is bathed in a golden glow. It surely seems like a positive sign! This card represents having all the tools you need to acomplish your goals and progress. I also like the fact that it is Card ONE - as in we have the number one bid?? Major Arcana cards also signify fate working heavily in your life situation - that things are "meant to be" a certain way.
I did a quickie reading about the baby, asking (1) birthday, and (2) gender. Here's what the cards showed:
(1) The Nine of Cups - the Wish card. Usually this means that you get your wish! I've been saying May 19th, but I don't think we're going to make it that long. I'm leaning toward the "Nine" being literal, as in May 9th or in 9 days.
(2) The Four of Wands - celebration/harvest. Shows a man and woman dancing under a canopy. I guess that's a sign that I should just wait to find out and celebrate whichever gender when the baby comes...
